Kaleb is a little boy whose life has been a battle since the day he was born.

He was diagnosed with a rare intestinal disease that prevents his body from absorbing the nutrients he needs to survive. While most children grow stronger with every meal, Kaleb’s body cannot. Without specialized medical care, his life is constantly at risk.

To stay alive, Kaleb depends on parenteral nutrition, receiving the nutrients his body cannot absorb directly into his bloodstream through a central catheter. This treatment is not optional—it is what keeps him alive.

Every single day is filled with challenges.

His family carefully monitors everything. Chronic diarrhea and severe dehydration can quickly become life-threatening. Even something as simple as drinking too much water must be controlled with precision. A small mistake can lead to serious complications, emergency hospital visits, or dangerous infections.

But the hardest part is that the treatment doesn’t end when Kaleb leaves the hospital.

At home, his family follows a demanding routine that no child should ever have to endure. Every day includes catheter care, strict hygiene, medical appointments, therapies, medications, and constant monitoring to protect him from infections and keep him stable.

The financial burden has become overwhelming.

The costs never stop. Medical supplies, diapers, medications, therapies, laboratory tests, transportation to hospitals and specialists, and the equipment needed for his daily care continue to grow month after month.

Despite everything he faces, Kaleb continues to smile.

He dreams, laughs, and finds joy in the little moments, showing a strength far beyond his years. His family does everything possible to give him the chance to grow, play, and experience the childhood every child deserves.
